Sorghum Price in Argentina Remains High Because of High Fertilizer Costs

The price of sorghum in Argentina soared by +36.8% YoY to USD 0.26/kg in W5 May-22. The driving factor behind the high price of sorghum in Argentina is the high fertilizer costs which the producers tend to limit resulting in smaller planted areas. That reason led to lesser production and increased the price of Argentine sorghum in late May 2022.
