Highest Wholesale Price Index for US Strawberries

게시됨 2021년 11월 18일
The wholesale price index for fresh strawberries surged in the US ahead of November amounted to 296.3. The US has shown a rather high value compared to other markets such as Canada and Spain. Increased production and strawberries which are in great demand have triggered high WPI in the US. While the wholesale price index in Spain was stable from mid-August to November, the production also registered to fall in 2020. Canada, which originally had a low WPI in July, rose slowly and reach 100 in early November. Canada is well-known for relying heavily on the US to meet its local consumption of fresh strawberries.
