Table Grape Prices Down 41.99% YoY in China Due to Large Chilean Harvest

The wholesale price of table grapes in China was USD 1.05/kg in W5 May 2022 which is 41.99% lower YoY. The price of table grapes dropped from USD 1.47/kg in W4 April 2022 to USD 0.88/kg in W1 May and have been trading below USD 1/kg for the entire month of May. The lower prices experienced in May 2022 is the result of a large Chilean grape harvest which put downward pressure on imported table grape prices in China.
