Peruvian grape exports abruptly escalated to the peak in 2020 and have been on a steady upward trend since 2015. The escalation emerged from surging US demand (USD 598.08 million, +52.99% YoY) as well as demand from most of the top importing countries, particularly in the traded value of in the first and third quarters (Q1 and Q3) of 2020 as the commodity enters its high season. The United States tended to have a lower grape supply and was accompanied by surging grape imports since 2019 to cover the void between available supply and local demand.
