Philippines have trippled demand for imported onions

The import of onion in the Philippines grew rapidly after three consecutive years never exceeding 15M USD, now the total value is recorded at approx 45M USD despite experiencing a decline last year. China and the Netherlands are currently the largest exporters for the onion market to the country. In fact, export from China increasing +205.97% within a year. While China's onion exports are growing, the demand from Netherlands is jumping by +177.8% and the supply is increasing rapidly to the Philippines.
