There was a minor recession in US lettuce exports in 2020 where reduced demand from its top importers became the key driver, mainly from Canada (USD 363.25 million, -2.99% YoY), and Taiwan (USD 6.24 million, -8.54% YoY). On the other hand, Mexico (USD 29.34 million, +36.56%) have been steadily increasing its import from the US. Canada and Mexico are heavily reliant on the US supply as the country entirely dominated lettuce trade in both countries.
