Recovering Demand Push the US to Supply More Pecans

The wholesale price of US pecan was stable at 5.64 USD/KG until W1 November 2021, while the export price rose slightly to 3.01 USD/pound in August 2021. The increase in export prices is in line with the decrease in export volume of 10M pounds. Recovering demand will push US pecan exports to increase. However, strong winds in the center of US pecan production may affect harvesting which might impact exports.
