Fresh table grape prices appear to be lower than the previous year as happened in Turkey and China. Prices in the Turkey market which have been low since July, rebounded in mid-April, but no luck as the prices had to drop as soon as it hit the peak. In contrast to China, which prices were higher in August and experienced an unexpected spike to 2.28 USD in early April. Volatility appear to be lighter on the Chinese market, and prices fell by more than 10% within a year. While Turkey supplies grape to European countries, China is actively exporting to neighboring countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Bangladesh.
