With India and Vietnam buying more black peppercorns and the Brazilian harvest still far from starting this year (it starts in November), the prices of the black peppercorn stocks in Brazil just rose. In a month, the price went up by 15% and may only go down once harvests in India and Vietnam start again. Quotations are about FOB USD 4,200/Ton for the 550g/l quality.
