Our Onions From Pakistan

Onion is one of the biggest crops harvested in Pakistan that has such high demand in both the local and international markets. Pakistani onion is drier compared to onion produced by other countries and has a longer shelf life, and that is why it is considered as one of the top quality onions worldwide. Onion is grown in all the provinces in Pakistan in varying volumes and with different harvesting periods. This ensures the availability of onion throughout the year for both local consumption and export purposes. As far as the growing regions are concerned, Sindh is the largest producer of Onion in Pakistan followed by Balochistan, Punjab, and KPK. Nawabshah and Hyderabad are the two biggest onion producing cities in Sindh followed by Chaghi and Turbat in Balochistan.

Tridge is sourcing onions from Sindh which are considered as the best quality onions. The onion produced in Pakistan ranges from a size of 30mm to 70mm depending upon the requirement of the buyer. The onion produced is packaged in mesh bags to prevent any moisture damage and shipped out using either reefer containers or one door open containers again depending upon the choice of the buyer and laws of the buyer's country.
