Tuber with high nutritional content, naturally gluten-free, very popular in African and Caribbean cuisine where its high nutritional value and exquisite flavor are used. The yam grows primarily in a tropical climate around 27ºC; with rainfall of approximately 1200 mm per year, with good light for proper development of the leaves and tuber formation.
