On 15 December, 96 boxes of New Zealand cherries arrived to Shanghai market. All products are being sold slowly. These cherries are sourced from brand 'Picnic', and the packaging is 2 kilo per box. Wholesale prices for each cherry size are as follows: Size SJD: ¥480 per 2 kilo and Size PD: ¥530 per 2 kilo.

The variety of sourced cherries is Lani. Lani cherries were developed exclusively by Freshmax five years ago and launched in the winter of 2015. Lani is an early maturing cherry with an average diameter of 30-32mm and a sweetness of 17-18 degrees. This variety is grown in New Zealand's prestigious cherry region of Central Otago and lani cherries are produced sparingly, with a season lasting only about 2 weeks.
