Cereals, olive groves, vineyards, rainfed almond trees, pastures for extensive livestock, and beekeeping are the most affected sectors. By region, Andalusia, the south of Extremadura and Castilla La Mancha, and several counties of Murcia, Lleida, and Girona, are experiencing the most critical situation. Concerns and uncertainty remain before the start of the irrigation campaign. If there is no rainfall in the short-medium term, restrictions are suspended due to the low level of the reservoirs and swamps, which reserves 44% of their total capacity.
