Nation's inflow of cereal products to the feed industry presented a consistent growth since the start of the fiscal year.
Until last December 2019, the country registered an increase of animal feed at 11%, to reach 10.05M tonnes.

Although corn presented a decline of 2% in its weight, it managed to grow 3% in value terms YOY, as it was reported by the ILNA (Iran Feed Grain Importers’ Union)

At the other hand barley registered 33% growth, accounting for 2.51MMT, over 50% in value terms YOY. SBM also shows an interesting prospect for exporters interested in this market with more than 60% increase.

Yet it is known by the ILNA that only 50% of its total industrial feed capacity of 23MMT/yr is being used.
