The consumption of dried legumes is increasing significantly in Italy. Currently, the value of canned legumes in the Italian large-scale retail trade can be estimated around 330 million euros, with beans (32%) on top, followed by corn (19%), peas (14%), chickpeas (11%), lentils in the top (5%).
