Iran to standardize honey production to fight fake honey products

Iran has produced 112 KMT of honey during the last Iranian year out of which 1,500 tons were exported, mostly to neighboring Turkey.
The country's export capacity is said that can go to 5,000 tons due to the high-quality and price competitiveness of the Iranian honey.
The Agriculture Ministry of Iran is preparing mandatory standards for honey production to avoid and eliminate fake and synthetic honey products.
