The Covid-19 outbreak has deeply impacted Afghanistan's fragile economy. Afghani agriculture output is said to have been negatively affected by lockdown and quarantines. The agriculture industry contributes around 30% to the country's GDP by employing around 70% of the total population. Farmers and laborers have been working under shorter working hours and also companies have been running with less staff which might lead to large unemployment.
