The Peruvian Amazon Research Institute (IIAP) conducted a technical, theoretical, and practical training session for the Central Executing Nucleus (NEC) Hermilio Valdizán – La Misteriosa, located in the Huánuco region, aimed at improving the feeding of Amazonian fish through the use of black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens). The event brought together 13 participants, including members of the NEC (president, treasurer, and secretary), the Foncodes Technical Team, and agricultural and aquaculture entrepreneurs dedicated to raising pigs, ducks, and fish. The main objective was to strengthen technical knowledge on the production of larvae and promote the transfer of aquaculture technology developed by the IIAP. The training took place on December 18.
