80% of Hungarian sunflower oil production is exported

The Hungarian refined edible oil industry is primarily export-oriented, about 80% of the oil produced by the industry is exported, since the production volume far exceeds the domestic demand. The main export target countries are Slovakia, Slovenia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Germany, they even export significant quantity of bottled refined oil to Asia.
