Increasing hazelnut exports to India and China delight Turkish growers

Turkey continues to be a top player in the global hazelnut market with 9 months of exports this season reaching 2 billion USD. Currently, the country exports hazelnut to 120 countries.

The increased exports to China and India was especially promising for the growers due to the potential of these two markets. The exporters note that a stronger market position in these 2 markets will improve the Turkish hazelnut prices in the export markets.
