Global lock-down amid COVID 19 has changed the entire agricultural sector of Malaysia. Earlier, Malaysia used to procure 50 types of various frozen and fresh vegetables and fruits including tomatoes, sweet potatoes, chili etc from 120 different nations around the world. However, during the 2nd quarter of this year global pandemic has changed the entire mindset of Malaysian and now the Malaysians are depending on their homegrown produces. This new trend likely to reduce the import expense of that nation.
