Garlic prices expected to rise significantly within the next weeks

Garlic prices are expected to rise 20-30% due to the Eid Adha Festival until the end of July with not many imports from China expected at this moment. Malaysia is the net importer of garlic due to the shortage of crops in the country. Due to the COVID issue, suppliers have reduced garlic imports from China resulting in a supply that cannot serve the high demand.
