Coronavirus outbreak cause a big shortage of garlic in Ukraine

Imports of garlic to Ukraine have been affected by the coronavirus, which creates a supply shortage and price rising. China and Iran provided more than 80% of all garlic supplies to Ukraine last year. Problems with the coronavirus in China and Iran have already led to the collapse of logistics supply chains, and the new crop of garlic in Ukraine will be harvested in 5-6 months. Prices for fresh garlic during this period may increase significantly.
