Date exports from Iran exceed $200 million in 2019

Iran exported 238 KMT of dates between March 2019 - March 2020, The country was able to generate $211.64 million in revenues from date exports alone. The main export destinations for the Iranian dates were Pakistan, Kazakhstan, the UAE, Turkey, Afghanistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh, India, Denmark, Ukraine, and Iraq. The country's annual production output of dates stands at 1.2 million tons which make of about 10% of the global output.
