Current Season's Melon prices in Turkey

Adana remains one of the main melon production regions in Turkey. The melon farm gate price in the region is currently around 0.20 USD per kg and the production volume approximates to 46 mt. Kumluca district of Antaya is also known for its melons with a melon production area of 1,500 hectares. The farm gate prices in Kumluca are slightly higher than Adana with prices varying between 0.20 and 0.40 USD depending on its quality and variety. Turkey mainly exports melons to Russia, Romania, and Ukraine in addition to some other European countries.
