Turkish government working to set up trade routes to Far East for Turkish fresh fruits

Turkey's Minister of Trade announced that they have just reached an agreement with Thailand to allow the export of apples from Turkey into the country. Additionally, Turkey has applied for export permission to the same country for potato, sweet cherry, grape, pear, strawberry, and mandarin.

Turkey also received permission from Japan for grapefruit and lemon exports whilst awaiting the decision on sweet cherry

Turkish exporters are also expecting the decision of Chinese authorities who are assessing Turkey's request for permission to export pomegranate, grape. fig, apple, and citrus fruits.
