Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced a ban on imports of live pigs and pig products processed from Italy. Taiwan specifies that the measure is not linked to the Rome decision on restrictions on flights to and from Taipei on fears of contagion of the coronavirus but is based on "scientific bases".
