The Manisa Metropolitan Municipality provided support to beekeeper Hakan Bozyel, who suffered damage to his hives due to the overflow of the Gediz River in Yılmaz Mahallesi, Salihli district, last week, by supplying him with 40 hives. Following heavy rains, the overflow of the Gediz River negatively affected many producers in the area. While beekeeper Hakan Bozyel's hives in Yılmaz Mahallesi, Salihli, were caught in the floodwaters, many of his bees died. Following the incident, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality teams conducted inspections in the area and damage assessment studies.
