The olive harvest season has started in Edremit, one of Turkiye's most important olive and olive oil production centers. Farmers and producers express concern as the yield is 30% to 40% lower in 2023 compared to the previous year, raising concerns about Turkiye's competitiveness in olive oil exports for the year.
