Argentina is one of the biggest exporters of wheat, but the 2022-2023 season shows the smallest crop in the past seven years. At the beginning of the season, production was forecasted at around 20.5M tons. However, because of the impact of late frosts and droughts, expectations are renewed to be 12.4M tons for the season 2022-2023. The harvest will start in W48, and it is forecasted to end at the beginning of February 2023. The lack of supply in the wheat market may cause prices to rise.
