Argentina, one of the largest mung bean-producing countries, exported mung beans to 42 countries in 2022, and 85% of its exports went to Vietnam, Malaysia, Pakistan, and Thailand. Due to drought, sowing was delayed, and the harvest is expected to continue until June. Unfavourable weather conditions affected yields, reducing the total expected harvest in 2023 to around 75K MT.
