In 2022, the peanut harvest was 17% less than in the previous year in Argentina, with a total harvest production of 894,873 tons in 2022 compared to 2021, with 1M tons.
The plantation area was reduced, due to a frost affecting production. The intense cold caused the harvest to be delayed and affected the size of the peanuts. The most demanded size 38-42, has a low availability offer.
