According to the National Supply Company (CONAB), the canola harvest production was revised from 44 thousand to 33.9 thousand tonnes this 19/20 season, down 23%. The weather was the main cause of the losses as well. On both producing states, Parana and Rio Grande do Sul, there was an occurrence of late frost during flowering and grain filling stages, causing losses of up to half of the productive potential in some regions.
