In August, chilled, frozen, and processed Argentinian beef exports reached 56.7K tons, equivalent to USD 329.5M, which includes 8.8K tons of bones with meat. August shipments were 5% lower in value and volume, MoM, but 20% higher in volume and 32% higher in value, YoY. The MoM fall is entirely due to a fall in boneless frozen meat exports to China by 15%, at 6.6K tons. On the other hand, the volumes of boneless chilled meat exported to the EU, Chile, and Israel increased, and exports of bones with meat to China also increased by 10%. In the case of chilled boneless cuts, the FOB price was close to USD 9.1K/ton, a growth of 5.9% YoY, while in the case of boneless frozen cuts, it was just over USD 5.9K, 11.3% above the average for August 2021.
