Brazil pomegranate from Spain

The first pomegranate supply from Spain has been shipped to Brazil this week (week 42) of the early variety Aco, which is not the main variety preferred in the market. However, since the volume in the market is limited due to poor quality, variety, and color, it is considered as profitable.
The most popular variety is the Wonderful, which is being shipped this week from Spain and scheduled to arrive within 2 weeks (week 44) in Brazil.
The transport unit sizes of pomegranate differ from supplier and range from 3.5 to 5 kg. The price paid by the buyer for the 4.5 kg of Wonderful was EUR 7.35 per box Cat 1, CIF-Santos. The products were shipped in a few pallets in most cases, while only a few buyers received it as an FCL.
