Cambodia and China agrees on Free Trade

While China is Cambodia's biggest trade partner, free Trade negotiation was agreed upon and it is estimated that the Free Trade agreement will be signed by the end of 2020. According to the Chinese Custom records, trade between Cambodia and China is valued at 9.4 Billion USD. With the help of Free Trade agreement, it's estimated that Cambodian export to China of the agriculture sector would grow by 20%.

The products that enjoy the immediate benefit are the following: rice, cashew nut, corn and mango. it's estimated that Cambodia's mango export to China will reach 500K MT. Cambodia also plans to have an agreement with South Korea on Free Trade by the end of 2020.
