Avocado and mango exports in the province of Malaga in the first nine months of 2025 already exceed the total exports of the whole year 2024, according to the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco. During his visit to the headquarters of Trops in Vélez-Málaga, he detailed that in the Malaga province, from January to September 2025, 106,943 tons were exported with a value of 307.5 million euros for these fruits; while in the whole of 2024, 106,478 tons were exported worth 357 million euros. If we compare the exports of the first nine months of 2025 with the same period in 2024, it represents an increase of 33.2% in tons, since 80,284 tons were exported in 2024 for this period; while at an economic level, the increase is 13.2%, since the value from January to September in the previous year was 271.6 million euros.
