Canadian blueberry packers in British Columbia's Fraser Valley are expressing concern as temperatures are expected to pass 40 degrees over the weekend and into Week 26. The heatwave has the potential to delay fruit development and cause fruit to not size properly. This being said, if temperatures are to fall towards the end of Week 26, the harvest can still begin between July 3-5.
