Capsicum, formerly a strange foreign vegetable, rapidly gains popularity in Bangladesh. Demand for capsicum, often known as sweet pepper, is increasing in Bangladesh. Farmers also gain benefits. Countries, like Europe and America, have a great need for this vegetable foreign vegetable. People from all around the Jashore district are planting capsicum. Traders used to purchase capsicum from India because of its popularity, but now they buy from Jashore farmers. Many farmers in Jhikargachha, Manirampur, and Chougachha upazila are growing capsicum. Meanwhile, capsicum is a valuable product, according to the Jashore Department of Agriculture Extension Deputy Director. He also promised to help farmers who grow capsicums.
