The Spanish region of Catalunya reported a 25% increase in the export value of the first semester of 2020 compared to the same period last year. This comes after fears from all sectors due to the pandemic.
The sector that saw the largest increase was the meat sector, with beef (40.40%) leading the ranks, followed by pork exports (27%). The fruit and vegetable sector also saw an increase in the exported volume.
