Cereal harvest campaign to start this week

The new Spanish grain season is due to start this week in Castilla la Mancha. Producers of wheat, triticale, oats, rye, and maize have been preparing for this new season, hiring temporary workers, setting their warehouses up, and closing on sales. The season that normally goes from October to December is expected to yield 5 million MT of grains from 1.5 million hectares of cultivated land.
