Chia seeds price have doubled this season

Over 80% of black chia yields from the most important supplier countries in South America - including Peru, Bolivia, and Paraguay - were lost due to freezing damage.
This has led prices to almost double from USD 1.90 (season 2020) to USD 3.50 FOB Callao this year.
