Chicken production increased in Turkey

Turkey Statistical Institute announced the Poultry Production data for October 2021. According to the declared data, in October, the number of slaughtered chickens increased by 14.5% compared to the previous year. Chicken meat production increased by 14%, turkey meat production increased by 13.1%, and chicken egg production decreased by 1.1%. On the other hand, in the January-October period compared to the same period of the previous year, chicken meat production increased by 3.2%, the number of slaughtered chickens increased by 1.4%. In comparison, chicken egg production decreased by 2.2% and turkey meat production by 16%.
