According to Vietnam Customs data, Chile's tuna imports from Vietnam increased in 2024. In 2023, Vietnam was the fourth-largest tuna supplier to Chile (after Thailand, Ecuador, and China), with a value of nearly 16 million USD and a market share of over 9%. However, from Jan-24 to Feb-24, Chile imported almost USD 3 million worth of Vietnamese tuna products, marking a 58% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
