Chilean Salmon Harvests Increased by 5% In January-August 2022

According to information shared by Chilean salmon producers, Atlantic salmon harvests in Chile between January-August 2022 increased by 5% compared to the same period in 2021, from 472,100 to 495,800 tons.
For the other salmonid species, the increase in coho salmon harvests was 18% from 58,000 to 68,500 tons, and trout was a 4.9% increase from 40,300 to 42,300 tons.
