China Fuji apple season

China Fuji apple is in the peak time of harvest and storing in the Shandong area. It was reported that there is a lot of fruit russeting on apple skin, which is considered a defect. There are fewer high-quality Fuji apples available for 2021 than normal(especially the premium grades in #48/56/64/72 sizes), and the EXW price is up to USD 1.25-1.45/kg. For exports, the FOB price is about USD 1.00-1.20/kg for Grade 1,2 apples(#88/100/125/135 size). Apples that have lower quality with russeting are priced at about FOB USD 0.65-0.80/kg.
