In response to Poland currently facing exponential outbreaks of bird flu, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong have banned all chicken imports from Poland. Positioned as the EU's largest producer in the poultry industry, Poland is expected to suffer from an increase in the price of eggs and meat from poultry. At the same time, however, the situation is expected to improve as the weather gets warmer.
