Cocoa bean orchards in Ivory Coast affect by the Swollen Shoot planned to be uprooted

The Coffee and Cocoa Council(CCC) will uproot 70,000 hectares of cocoa bean orchards affected by the Swollen Shoot by 2023. In Ivory Coast, the cocoa sector has to deal with many diseases such as the Swollen Shoot. It is trying its best to limit the impact on cocoa production. This uprooting might drive the price of the cocoa beans upward in the coming years.
