Since January 2022, coffee prices have fallen by more than 30% worldwide. Coffee prices in the international market reached USD 260/50kg bag in February 2022 but have dropped 36% since then, to USD 154/50kg bag in January 2023. However, in Turkey, coffee prices increased by 30% during the same period. At the start of 2022 coffee in Turkey traded at around USD 8/kg while in January 2023 coffee is trading between USD 11.5-12.5/kg.
