Surging demand for cold storage is prompting an increase in the development of temperature-controlled facilities all over North America. During W5, the trade association announced that the industry will add five new storage facilities in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina ports. Experts predict that chilled and frozen warehouse space in the port city of Savannah, Georgia, will grow by 11% in 2023 to more than 2.2M sqft.
